Project Officer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Programme Officer to join our team in a key role within the Pathway Fund. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the development and administration of grants to community organisations across Northern Ireland.
Main ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities of the role will include:
- Grant Administration: Support the assessment of grant applications, award process, and allocation of the Pathway Fund in line with Department of Education requirements.
- Reporting and Communication: Develop and maintain computerised and manual systems to ensure data, trends, statistics, and performance measures are gathered, analysed, and communicated.
- Project Support: Provide administrative support at feedback clinics to unsuccessful applicants, assist with the development and maintenance of administrative support systems, and support the Pathway Fund Team with planning and coordination of meetings, minute-taking, and preparation of papers.
- Database Management: Maintain the Pathway Fund database, produce mail-merged letters, and generate reports from the same.
- Quality Control and Verification: Support data management, quality control, and verification of payments.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Administrative Experience: Degree-level qualification or three years' experience in an administrative role, including monitoring, managing, and analysing financial records/data to meet reporting requirements.
- Technical Skills: Strong technical skills in the use of Microsoft Office packages, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
- Project Management: Ability to work on own initiative, plan, and organise workload, and ability to work in a team and co-operate with other team members.
