About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrator to join our team at Alnwick Medical Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with data protection laws and confidentiality agreements.
  • Provide administrative support to clinical staff, including minute taking, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology, SystmOne, and other clinical systems.
  • Work effectively with patients, colleagues, and external agencies to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the effectiveness of the team by reflecting on own and team activities and making suggestions on ways to improve and enhance the team's performance.
Requirements
  • GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • NVQ (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
  • Basic IT skills, including proficiency in SystmOne and other clinical systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
