Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nurse to join our team as a Nurse Functional Assessor. As a key member of our assessment team, you will use your clinical expertise to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life.
  • Produce high-quality PIP reports to support the DWP in determining a person's eligibility for benefits.
  • Develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills through ongoing training and support.

Requirements

  • Valid NMC registration number.
  • At least 1 year of broad post-registration adult or mental health experience gained within or outside of the NHS.
