As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality computed tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas consistent with established policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

* Obtain patient history, explain standard procedures, and address patient concerns to foster a sense of comfort and confidence in patients.
* Operate and maintain all assigned imaging department equipment, including tomography scanner equipment.
* Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and positioning patients to correctly capture images requested by a physician.
* Properly identify, prepare, and/or administer medications within the technologist's scope of practice as prescribed by a licensed independent practitioner.
* Complete quality assurance processes and practice radiation safety to reduce exposure to patients, staff, and self.

Requirements:

* High school diploma or GED
* Certified as CT Technologist
* If not CT Certified, cross-training from another ARRT modality to become CT Certified within twelve (12) months
* Graduation from an AMA-approved school of radiology technology
* Certified in general radiologic technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
* Current BLS certification

Preferred:

* Certified as CT Technologist
