The Role
The company is seeking a highly skilled and commercially focused UK Sales Manager to join their team. As a Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and developing strategic relationships with existing and new customer accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Sales Director to develop and implement sales strategies that drive revenue growth
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, identifying opportunities to improve sales and expand the customer base
- Enhance and modernise the company's sales processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Visit customers regularly to assess their needs and identify potential sales opportunities
- Develop and deliver technical presentations to showcase the company's solutions and services
- Promote cross-selling and up-selling opportunities to existing customers
- Assist with after-sales service queries and ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements and Qualifications
- Proven sales experience in the heavy industrial market, particularly in bulk equipment handling and process industry environments
- Commercially focused individual with a strong understanding of the industrial engineering sector
- Experience working in a sales management role within industrial engineering companies, manufacturing, or services
- Engineering mindset with a strong understanding of manufacturing industry knowledge
- Culturally aligned with the company's values and size
- Able to work effectively with directors and other stakeholders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
