About the RoleThis exciting opportunity offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality employee relations service to the business. You will provide expert advice and guidance to managers and senior colleagues on people-related issues, building and maintaining collaborative relationships with the People team and key stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a comprehensive case management and advisory service to managers, including employment law advice and best practice guidance.
- Oversee and manage cases to conclusion, tracking case progression and ensuring organisational risk is managed and mitigated.
- Work closely with line managers to equip them to lead on disciplinary and grievance processes, conducting robust investigations as needed.
- Support line managers on performance management, including formal PIPs and informal interventions.
- Advise and support stakeholders to manage employee absence in a timely and consistent manner, promoting return-to-work meetings.
- Support HRBPs in business change activities, such as restructuring, transfer, redundancies, and settlement agreements.
- Develop and maintain ER-related policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with current legislation, best practice, and inclusivity.
- Excellent understanding and application of UK employment legislation, with ability to provide expert advice and training.
- Native or bilingual fluency in English (oral and written).
- Strong communication and listening skills, with ability to coach, advise, and influence managers at all levels.
- Ability to assess risks and make astute recommendations that meet business needs.
- Strong organisational skills, with ability to plan, prioritise, and work under pressure.
