About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy General Manager to join our team at Recruit North Ltd. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for deputising for the General Manager in their absence and working closely with the management team to drive business growth and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hotel Operations: Assist the General Manager in running a busy hotel, including forecasting, budgeting, recruitment, and supervising day-to-day operations.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Inspire and lead a team to deliver outstanding hospitality, maintain a constant awareness of department security, and ensure all department procedures are fully adhered to.
  • Business Development: Support the management team in achieving and exceeding revenue and guest satisfaction targets, work in conjunction with the General Manager to actively manage key property and maintenance issues.
  • Commercial Acumen: Proactive with a commercial approach to the business, able to drive the sales and marketing strategy, and possess excellent communication skills.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or Deputy General Manager in the luxury hotel sector.
  • Leadership Skills: An excellent motivator and leader of people, with a good track record of holding a team, and the desire and potential to be a General Manager in the future.
  • Personal Qualities: Naturally friendly and charismatic, a self-starter who has the capacity to operate with little supervision, and is not afraid to lead from the front in a fast-paced environment.
