About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bid and Proposal Manager to join our AWS Opportunity Pursuit Center of Excellence team. As a key member of our Commercial Sales team, you will be responsible for leading the development of winning proposals for key AWS prospects and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to build mindshare and broad use of Amazon's utility computing web services.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to execute the RFx proposal response plan, including developing win themes and technical discriminators.
  • Build a library of approved proposal content for quick turnaround opportunities.
  • Understand and navigate EMEA Enterprise procurement processes and procedures.
About the Team

The OPCOE team crafts AWS customer proposals and documents in response to needs for Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Tender (RFT) and Request for Quote (RFQ), collectively defined as RFx. We partner with Private Pricing, Cloud Intelligence, Cloud Economics, Analyst Relations and other Strategic Teams throughout a pursuit.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent.
  • Proposal or Bid Management Experience.
