UCL Department of Imaging NeuroscienceThe Department of Imaging Neuroscience at UCL is a leading centre for imaging research, with a strong focus on understanding the human brain and its functions. We are seeking an experienced researcher to join our team as a lecturer, working 70% on research and 30% on teaching.
Job DescriptionThis exciting opportunity involves holding and consolidating an imaging neuroscience research programme of excellence within the broad field of cognition and perception. You will work closely with world-leading neuroscientists and their research groups within the Department of Imaging Neuroscience.
Key Responsibilities:- Holding and consolidating an imaging neuroscience research programme of excellence
- Teaching on the BSc in Human Neuroscience
- Working with leading neuroscientists and research groups
With a PhD in neuroscience or a cognate discipline, you will have teaching experience alongside a proven record of providing pastoral care for students and obtaining research funding. Committed to excellence in research and teaching, you will have the ability to lead and inspire others, and act as an ambassador for the Department.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this position is approximately £60,000 per annum, plus benefits including 41 days holiday, additional annual leave purchase scheme, defined benefit career average revalued earnings pension scheme, cycle to work scheme, season ticket loan, immigration loan, relocation scheme for certain posts, on-site nursery, on-site gym, enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption pay, employee assistance programme: Staff Support Service, discounted medical insurance.
