We are seeking a highly motivated Research Coordinator to join our team within the Clinical Neuroscience division at King's College Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to work on an agreed portfolio of commercial and non-commercial clinical trials, helping to recruit patients, collect data, and monitor studies.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating research activities, identifying patients suitable for entry into clinical trials, and ensuring accurate documentation of patient records. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as you will be working with multidisciplinary teams and interacting with patients, clinicians, and other stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate research activities, including recruiting patients, collecting data, and monitoring studies
  • Ensure accurate documentation of patient records and adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams, clinicians, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of new research initiatives and protocols
Requirements
  • Postgraduate Diploma or equivalent professional qualification in a Health Sciences field
  • Experience of working with people with neurodegenerative diseases and their carers
  • Knowledge of ICH GCP and NHS legislation
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
