Key Role in Neuroscience Discovery Medicine Group

The Director of Cognition Disorders will play a pivotal part within the Neurosciences Discovery Medicine team at our headquarters. This newly created position reflects our continued investment in Neuroscience and Cognition Disorders research.

You will be responsible for providing early medical-scientific guidance and direction to discovery research projects. Your expertise will drive the development strategy for Cognition Disorder research, including Clinical Proof of Concept.

Collaboration with:

  • Clinical Sub-teams
  • Translational Medicine Scientists
  • Clinical Pharmacology Groups
  • Clinical Modelling & Simulation Groups
  • Neuroscience Cognition Disorders Discovery Research Team

You will report directly to the Vice President and Head of Neuroscience Discovery Medicine. A strong background in Neurology or Psychiatry is highly desirable.

This role requires a deep understanding of clinical development and academic, scientific, and medical principles. The ideal candidate will have passion for medical and scientific research and a genuine desire to make a significant impact in Cognition Disorder research and development.

A high level of autonomy and responsibility comes with this dynamic and scientifically talented team. You will bring an excellent track record in academic and applied/commercial research into these key disease areas, bringing vision, ambition, and creativity.

Salary: An attractive salary package commensurate with experience (approximately €120,000 - €180,000 per annum)
