Paediatric Neurosciences Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse/Senior Staff Nurse to join our Paediatric Neurosciences team at Great Ormond Street Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your nursing skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
The Neurosciences team at GOSH is committed to providing world-class care for children with complex neurological conditions. Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and is dedicated to advancing the field of paediatric neurosciences.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work on Koala and Possum wards, which provide specialist care for children with epilepsy, neurosurgical, neurological, and craniofacial conditions. You will have the chance to develop your skills in high dependency nursing and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.
Main Duties of the JobAs a Staff Nurse/Senior Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Providing high-quality patient care to children with complex neurological conditions
- Working closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care
- Developing your skills in high dependency nursing and paediatric neurosciences
- Participating in education and training programs to advance your knowledge and skills
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment

Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have:
- NMC Child Registered Nurse qualification
- Relevant nursing experience in paediatric neurosciences or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team and on own initiative
- Committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of paediatric neurosciences
