Key Role in Neuroscience Discovery Medicine

Pharma Search is seeking a highly skilled Academic Director to play a key role within the Neuroscience Discovery Medicine Group. This newly created position is part of the company's significant investment and commitment to Neuroscience and Cognition Disorders, within breakthrough drug discovery research and development.

The Director Cognition Disorders will be responsible for providing early medical-scientific support and direction to discovery research, focusing on the early clinical development strategy, up to and including Clinical Proof of Concept within Cognition Disorder discovery, research and development. The ideal candidate will provide expert input into the identification of surrogate markers, bio-markers or endpoints to be used in clinical trials.

The successful candidate will work in close alignment with:

  • Clinical Sub-teams
  • Translational Medicine Scientists
  • Clinical Pharmacology Groups
  • Clinical Modelling & Simulation Groups
  • Neuroscience Cognition Disorders Discovery Research Team

Reporting to the Vice President and Head Neuroscience Discovery Medicine, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in Neurology, possibly with experience within Psychiatry. They will have excellent clinical development understanding and expertise, coupled with a strong academic, scientific and medical background.
