Job Summary:

The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the Quality & Academic Standards Team in delivering the School's quality assurance, enhancement, and academic standards objectives. As the Head of Quality Enhancement, you will work closely with the Academic Community to provide advice and guidance on quality assurance and academic standards, and lead the review and development of the School's academic regulations, procedures, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the Quality & Academic Standards Team in delivering the School's quality assurance, enhancement, and academic standards objectives.
Work closely with the Academic Community to provide advice and guidance on quality assurance and academic standards.
Lead the review and development of the School's academic regulations, procedures, and processes.

Requirements:

An undergraduate degree (or equivalent) or relevant experience in reviewing procedures and mapping out various processes in detail.
Significant experience of leading quality assurance and enhancement activities in the Higher Education sector, including experience of coordinating internal and external reviews.
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.

What We Offer:

The post is full-time, 35 hours per week, and permanent. The salary will be on the Professional Services salary scale, Grade 7 in the range £51,299 - £58,723 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part-time staff. In addition to this, there are discretionary 'Wellbeing Days'. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at LSHTM.
