Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced research coordinator to join our Clinical Neuroscience division at King's College Hospital.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating an agreed portfolio of commercial and non-commercial clinical trials, helping recruit patients, collecting data, supporting and monitoring patients, and applying clinical scales to patients in clinic and data entry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the collection of blood samples required as part of clinical trials and ensure safe storage of specimens.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document all relevant information in medical notes.
  • Responsible for collecting, co-ordinating, and computerising data generated from clinical trials.
  • Implement and adhere to principles of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) as set out in Clinical Trials Regulations.
  • Act as a resource for Parkinson's disease based research.

Requirements
  • Postgraduate diploma or equivalent professional qualification in Health Sciences field.
  • Knowledge of ICH GCP and experience of working with people with neuro-degenerative diseases and their carers.
  • Basic knowledge of recent NHS legislation and recommendations in the field of neurosciences.
  • Awareness of current legislation regarding research governance issues.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £44,806 - £53,134 per annum, inclusive of HCA's, with opportunities for career development and progression.
