We are inviting expressions of interest from early career researchers to establish an independent research group through a tenure-track like process. Our institute is a leading international centre for research and teaching related to understanding hearing and transforming hearing health.
About the UCL Ear InstituteAs a world-class research institution, we offer a collaborative environment within the Faculty of Brain Sciences and are embedded within UCL's neuroscience community. We host state-of-the-art facilities for cell and molecular biology, microscopy, neurophysiology, and behaviour, providing researchers with access to cutting-edge equipment.
Our institute delivers world-class teaching, training the next generation of auditory scientists. We offer PhD programmes in a wide range of basic and clinical disciplines, as well as Master's-level programmes in audiology, otolaryngology, and audiovestibular research.
We have a strong track record of academic excellence, ranking 1st in England for 'Deafness and Hearing' and 'Audiology and Speech & Language Pathology'. Our staff members contribute to neuroscience programs across UCL and provide support to ensure our fellows can successfully establish their research groups.
