Postdoctoral Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Scientist to join our team at King's College London, in the Social, Genetic & Developmental Psychiatry Centre. The successful candidate will contribute to research projects focused on mental health in families using data from the Norwegian Mother Father and Child Birth Cohort Study and the Twins Early Development Study.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct research under the supervision of Dr Tom McAdams
- Lead the public involvement and engagement project Family Footsteps, creating dialogue between parents interested in mental health and researchers
- Assist Dr McAdams in running an MSc module, including research methods practical sessions and lectures
This is a full-time post (35 hours per week) with a fixed-term contract until October 2025. Part-time applicants will be considered (no less than 50% FTE).
Requirements:- PhD in a relevant area (epidemiology, quantitative genetics, psychology, statistics)
- Ability to work with complex data (genetic data, family data)
- Confidence in managing a PPIE project with charity partners
- Confidence in delivering research methods lectures
- Postdoctoral experience
- Ability to start in post ASAP
