Senior Cancer Research Scientist

The Institute of Cancer Research, London, is a world-leading centre for cancer research and one of the fastest-growing centres globally. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Postdoctoral Research Associate to join our translational research team led by Professor Johann de Bono.
As a Postdoctoral Research Associate, you will play a key role in integrating multi-omic and clinical data to develop novel therapeutic strategies against cancer. You will work with integrated datasets including clinical trial datasets comprising next-generation sequencing data and other applications relevant to the analysis of DNA and RNA sequencing, as well as protein assays.
We have an estimated salary of £41,607* to £48,224 per annum, dependent on your experience and qualifications. *Please note that if you have completed your viva but not yet been awarded your PhD, the starting salary will be £35,844, pre-PhD level.
This is a fixed-term position for 3 years, and we offer a total annual salary package of approximately £50,449 (including employer pension contribution).
The successful candidate will possess robust bioinformatic, scientific, and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to learning and applying new techniques, including artificial intelligence.
The ICR has a workforce agreement stating that Postdoctoral Training Fellows can only be employed for up to 7 years as PDTF at the ICR, providing total postdoctoral experience (including previous employment at this level elsewhere) does not exceed 10 years.
