Senior Learning Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Learning Support Specialist to join our team in Chester City Centre. Our school is dedicated to providing high-quality education to young people with autism aged 4-19 years with additional learning difficulties and challenging behaviours.
As a Senior Learning Support Specialist, you will provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs, helping them achieve their full potential and overcome challenges.
Key Responsibilities:- Support pupils individually and in small groups to overcome barriers to learning, delivering teaching and positive behaviour support.
- Work with a class team to deliver effective teaching, learning and behaviour support in all areas of school life.
- Monitor and track progress, providing regular feedback.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Relevant experience or qualifications in education, special educational needs or related fields.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Genuine commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people with special educational needs.
Salary Estimate: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum.
