About the Role:

You will be responsible for providing tailored educational support to children with SEN, promoting their academic and social development in a safe and inclusive environment. With a strong focus on quality and safeguarding, we ensure that our students receive the best possible care and education.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality educational support to children with SEN
  • Promote academic and social development in a safe and inclusive environment
  • Work closely with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required

 

Requirements:

  • Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g., NCFE, CACHE, or NVQ Level 1, 2, or 3)
  • Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Previous experience working with children in the last 2 years
  • Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Previous KS3 experience
  • Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs
  • Two references working with children
  • Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
