This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of high-value income at Diabetes UK, a leading charity that fights for better care, treatment and support for people with diabetes in the UK.

We are seeking a highly skilled Proposals and Trust Manager to join our Philanthropy and Partnerships Team, responsible for helping sustain and grow our Trust and Statutory income.

The successful candidate will work closely with fundraisers and delivery leads to identify appealing funding opportunities aligned with Diabetes UK's strategic priorities. They will develop robust cases for support, create compelling proposition documents, and build relationships with key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing 5-6-figure applications to trust, Lottery and statutory funders;
  • Building robust cases for support and creating compelling proposition documents;
  • Identifying compelling funding asks and creating robust cases for support;

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisation and copywriting skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including generous annual leave, cash healthcare plan, early finish Friday, TOIL, discounts on gym membership, employee assistance programme, annual season ticket loan, cycle to work scheme, and generous pension provision, life assurance and income protection insurance.
