Key Responsibilities

Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through client acquisition and growth. This involves spotting business opportunities and working closely with internal stakeholders to drive revenue.

The role requires generating revenue through partnerships and managing personal pipelines, as well as leading key ICAEW initiatives. The successful candidate will have a detailed understanding of ICAEW's strategic objectives and those of its members, as well as the clients' marketing and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through client acquisition and growth.
  2. Generate revenue through partnerships and manage personal pipelines.
  3. Lead key ICAEW initiatives and support the Commercial Partnerships Account Management team.
  4. Develop and establish effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders.
  5. Manage a specific portfolio of relationships and develop new relationships with potential partners.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a good academic background, demonstrable sales and influencing skills, and previous consultative sales experience. They should also have experience working and interacting with C-Suite professionals, an interest or experience in business and finance, and proven project/time management skills.

Desired:

Experience in the professional services industry, MS Dynamics, and an understanding of financial controls, reporting, and P&Ls are desirable. The successful candidate will be a team player with a flexible, can-do attitude and good IT skills.
