Job Title: Strategic Account Director

Civica UK Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Account Director to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers in the UK local government sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with C-level executives in UK local government
  • Understand the business objectives, pain points, and operational needs of local government clients to position Civica software solutions effectively
  • Take ownership of assigned large or sensitive local government accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for C-level contacts
  • Deliver revenue growth within an assigned territory through strategic deal closure and/or opening opportunities for the Line-of-Business sales team to close
  • Drive holistic account cadence, ensuring a robust and integrated approach to account management
Requirements:
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand and articulate complex software solutions to non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Results-driven and determined, with a track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Familiarity with software solutions, SaaS, or technology sales is advantageous
