Are you passionate about supporting individuals with Autism to live fulfilling lives?

We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Driver Support Worker to join our Mencap service in Haxby.

About the Role
  • As a Driver Support Worker, you will provide exceptional support to individuals with Autism, promoting their independence and inclusion in the community.
  • Your driving skills will be essential in transporting individuals to various activities and outings, fostering social connections and experiences.

You will work closely with a small team of Support Workers to create a happy and supportive environment, encouraging individuals to pursue their interests and passions.

Responsibilities
  • Personal care and daily living assistance
  • Supporting individuals to engage in community activities, such as cycling, swimming, and bowling
  • Assisting with budget management, cooking, and household tasks
  • Fostering positive relationships and communication skills

We offer an estimated salary of £22,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Benefits include 24 days annual leave, ongoing training opportunities, and pension scheme.
