The Farewell Guide is a leading online funeral aggregator that specializes in supporting consumers with arranging funerals. As a Sales and Partnership Development Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, and expanding our customer base to support our mission to become the no 1 funeral site in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
  • Identify potential customers, such as Funeral Directors, Associations, Pre-paid funeral providers, and life insurance partners, and engage them in meaningful conversations about The Farewell Guide's services.
  • Conduct sales presentations and demonstrations, both online and in person, to showcase the value and benefits of our platform.
  • Proactively follow up on leads, inquiries, and sales opportunities to convert them into paying customers.
  • Track sales metrics, analyze performance data, and adjust strategies to optimize conversion rates and revenue generation.
  • Identify and cultivate partnerships with relevant organizations, including funeral homes, estate planners, genealogy companies, and other relevant businesses.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop mutually beneficial marketing and promotional initiatives that increase brand awareness and drive customer acquisition.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the funeral world.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven track record in sales and business development, preferably in a technology-driven or online platform environment or funeral/insurance world.
  • Strong networking abilities with the capacity to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with digital platforms, online marketing, and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
