We are looking for a skilled Academic Performance Tutor to join our team at Teaching Personnel, where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students.

About the Job:
  • As a tutor, you will be responsible for delivering one-to-one tuition sessions, which may take place in a variety of settings, including schools, local venues, or even in the student's home.
  • You will have the flexibility to choose your working hours, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide functional skills training and emotional support to students, using your expertise to drive their success.
  • Work collaboratively with local authorities and care home staff to ensure a comprehensive support system.
Requirements:
  • A teaching qualification (QTS) or relevant tutoring/TA experience is required for this role.
  • Proven experience working with students who require emotional support, particularly those with SEMH needs, is highly valued.
  • You must possess a valid DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply through Teaching Personnel.
