About the Role

We are recruiting an experienced Youth Support Professional to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people aged 9-25 by providing them with the skills and confidence they need to thrive in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support service users evening, overnight, and weekends as required, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.">
  • Develop and maintain a supportive environment for students, promoting their social and emotional well-being.">
  • Collaborate with other Academy staff to deliver a comprehensive program of activities and support services.">
  • Create personalized support plans tailored to the unique needs and goals of each service user.">
  • Provide individualized guidance and coaching to help service users achieve their full potential.">
  • Foster strong relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders.">
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote the welfare and safety of service users.">
  • Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.">
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of service user information.">
  • Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and standards governing the care of vulnerable individuals.">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A passion for working with young people and a commitment to their welfare and development.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users, families, and colleagues.

- Experience working in a care or residential setting, with a focus on supporting vulnerable individuals.

">

- A sound understanding of child protection policies and procedures.

">

- The ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
