About the Role

Kenect Recruitment is seeking a skilled Maintenance and Repairs Coordinator to join our team on a temporary basis. As a Maintenance and Repairs Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating maintenance activities across multiple sites, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Maintenance Scheduling

The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling maintenance activities, including ordering materials and supervising contractors.

Asset Management

Candidates will be required to maintain accurate records of assets, including tracking inventory levels and monitoring asset condition.

Collaboration and Communication

This role involves working closely with various teams, including Building Safety Operations and Building Safety Compliance, to ensure that all homes are safe and regulatorily compliant.

Project Management

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling housing maintenance and works contracts/projects, ensuring they are delivered effectively and professionally in accordance with TPC requirements, Building/Health and Safety, and Safe systems of work.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Technical Skills

The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, including knowledge of maintenance and repairs, as well as experience working with contractors and consultants.

Communication and Teamwork

Candidates must possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and partner agencies.

Contract Details

The contract for this position is a fixed-term engagement lasting 6 months. We are looking for individuals who are committed to delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
