Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our clinical psychology team, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical leadership and supervision to our team of clinical psychologists and other mental health professionals.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to our team of clinical psychologists and other mental health professionals.
- Develop and implement clinical psychology services and interventions for children, young people, and their families.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new services and programs.

As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and expertise, as well as contribute to the development of new services and programs.
Requirements
- Doctoral level training in clinical psychology or equivalent.
- Substantial experience of working as a qualified clinical psychologist with children, young people, and their families.
- Experience of contributing a psychological perspective within the context of multidisciplinary and multiagency care for children, young people, and their families.
- Formal training in supervision of other psychologists.
- Skills in the use of complex methods of psychological assessment, intervention, and management.
