We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Clinical Psychologist to join our Children and Young People's Psychological Services (CYPPS) team in East Lancashire.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will have delegated responsibility for discreet aspects of our specialist psychological therapy services, depending on specialist skills and/or geography. You will join the senior management team for the service and contribute to service developments and leadership. You will provide operational, clinical and professional leadership to colleagues, as well as offering clinical supervision to clinical colleagues in our services.
Key Requirements- Doctoral level training in clinical psychology or equivalent
- Substantial experience of working as a qualified clinical psychologist with children, young people and their parents/carers
- Formal training in supervision of other psychologists
- Skills in the use of complex methods of psychological assessment, intervention and management
