Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Clinical Psychologist to join our team in East Lancashire. As a key member of our Children and Young People's Psychological Services (CYPPS), you will provide clinical leadership and supervision to colleagues, contributing to service developments and leadership.
Main Duties
The successful candidate will have delegated responsibility for discreet aspects of our specialist psychological therapy services, depending on specialist skills and/or geography. You will work closely with the senior management team to develop and implement service strategies, providing operational, clinical, and professional leadership to colleagues.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive service with a range of clinical interests and developments. You will join an established team of Clinical Psychologists, Specialist Therapists, and Trainee and Assistant Psychologists, working together to provide high-quality care to children, young people, and their families.
Requirements
- Doctoral level training in clinical psychology or equivalent
- Substantial experience of working as a qualified clinical psychologist with children, young people, and their parents/carers
- Formal training in supervision of other psychologists
