Yate Supplies is a family-run business providing a one-stop shop to the hospitality and catering industry. With over 35 years of experience, we supply over 25,000 food packaging, janitorial, and catering products to our customers across the UK.

Job Overview

We are seeking a National Account Coordinator to join our Sales team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will work on average 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, in an office-based role with occasional travel as required.

The salary for this role is £24,500 per annum, plus a quarterly bonus. We also offer 22 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities
  • To assist our National Account sales team in providing fast and accurate responses to our customers.
  • To progress and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • To be responsible for all administration relating to specific national accounts, including responding and prioritising daily management of email accounts.
  • To support the account manager with customer development plans, including product launches, menu changes, and new service requirements.
  • To support the mobilisation of new business, opening orders for existing customer new sites or refurbishment orders.
  • To support the account managers with their day-to-day duties, enabling them to spend more quality time in front of customers growing accounts and obtaining new business.
  • To help the account manager deliver any company changes and initiatives.
  • To occasionally support the account managers visiting customers.
  • To work with company departments to achieve company and customer objectives.
Requirements
  • A proactive nature, with great organisation skills and the ability to deal with multiple projects at once.
  • Experience of communicating directly with customers or the public in a customer service-oriented role.
  • Strong Excel and Word knowledge and being numerate and literate.
  • Organisational skills are essential, as is the ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
  • Must be a good team player.
  • Experience of working in a hospitality or catering environment is desirable.
