Vulnerable Children Support Professional

Ackerman Pierce Ltd seeks a highly motivated and compassionate Vulnerable Children Support Professional to join their Looked After Children Team. In this role, you will provide essential support and guidance to vulnerable children, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement care plans for looked after children, tailored to their individual needs and circumstances.
  • Provide direct support and intervention to children and young people in care, promoting their emotional, educational, and social development.
  • Collaborate closely with foster carers, adoptive families, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children in care.
  • Advocate for the rights and needs of looked after children, ensuring their voices are heard and their views are taken into account in decision-making processes.
  • Regularly monitor and review the progress of looked after children, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed as a Vulnerable Children Support Professional, you will require:

  • a degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • proven experience in child protection and safeguarding.
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary and Benefits
