Social Worker for Vulnerable Children

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Social Worker for Vulnerable Children to join our team in Barking & Dagenham. As a key member of the team, you will provide high-quality support and guidance to vulnerable children and families.
Main Duties:
- Assess and address the mental health needs of LAC children and their support networks.
- Develop and deliver brief interventions and guidance to children, families, and carers.
- Ensure timely assessments and adherence to local and national LAC targets.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records, care plans, and risk assessments.
- Identify and escalate safeguarding issues promptly to protect children and families.
Requirements:
- A dedicated professional with experience in children's mental health services.
- Strong knowledge of national and local protocols for Looked After Children.
Salary and Benefits:
Negotiable salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum based on experience. Ongoing training and development opportunities.
