At Smile Education, we're dedicated to creating an optimal learning environment for students with diverse needs. As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you'll work directly with students, teachers, and support staff to foster a culture of inclusivity and academic excellence.

You'll be responsible for designing and implementing bespoke interventions to meet the unique requirements of each student. This may involve coordinating with colleagues to develop comprehensive behaviour plans, offering guidance to students on coping mechanisms, and maintaining a safe and respectful classroom atmosphere.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver targeted interventions for students experiencing behavioural challenges.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to create tailored behaviour plans that promote positive student outcomes.
  • Offer coaching and mentoring to students to improve their self-regulation skills.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall learning environment.
Necessary Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated expertise in supporting students with complex behavioural needs.
  • Valid Enhanced DBS clearance or commitment to obtaining it.
