**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated Inclusion Room Manager to join our partner secondary school in Oldham. This role plays a vital part in supporting students with behavioural, social, emotional, and academic needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Inclusion Room Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for students requiring additional assistance.
  • Student Support: Collaborate closely with students to identify barriers to learning, implementing strategies for positive behaviour and academic success.
  • Interventions: Plan and deliver targeted interventions to support students with behavioural, social, and emotional needs.
  • Collaboration: Work with teaching staff, SENCO, and pastoral teams to develop personalised support plans.
  • Progress Monitoring: Track and report on student progress, behaviour, and attendance in the Inclusion Room.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Essential experience in a similar role within a school setting, with prior experience supporting students with additional needs highly desirable.
  • Educational Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, counselling, or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Certifications: A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate is required.
