Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated individual to join our team as a SEMH Teaching Assistant. In this role, you will work with a group of students who require additional support in managing their emotions and behaviours.

You will be responsible for providing one-to-one and group support to help students access the curriculum while fostering their emotional and social development. This will involve implementing personalised learning plans and strategies to support student's emotional and academic development, as well as helping students develop coping strategies for managing their emotions and behaviours.

Requirements
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with SEMH needs (ideal but not essential)
  • A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting students with emotional and behavioural challenges

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience, as well as opportunities for training and career progression.
