We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Domestic Abuse Coordinator. As a key member of our Community Safety Team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing strategies to prevent and respond to domestic abuse in Trafford.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain partnerships with local agencies and organizations to enhance our response to domestic abuse
- Provide training and support to colleagues and partners on domestic abuse awareness and response
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to domestic abuse
- Work closely with the Community Safety Team to identify and address gaps in service provision
- Collaborate with other teams within Trafford Council to ensure a comprehensive approach to domestic abuse prevention and response
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a related field, such as social work, counseling, or community development
- Strong knowledge of domestic abuse dynamics and legislation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time management skills
