We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Domestic Abuse Specialist to join our Housing Specialisms team at L&Q. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our housing management teams and specialist advisors to ensure confidence and best practice in working with residents who have experienced domestic abuse.
Key Responsibilities- Work in partnership with our front-line housing teams to ensure residents receive a coordinated community response.
- Navigate 3rd sector support services to ensure residents access the support they need.
- Collaborate with services to achieve positive outcomes for residents, including experience of MARAC and DAHA.
- Develop and implement effective case management strategies for complex cases.
- Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and external partners.
- Experience working in the domestic abuse field, with a demonstrable track record of working with victims and survivors in a trauma-informed approach.
- Excellent knowledge of domestic abuse and safeguarding legislation, regulation, and best practice.
- Strong case management skills, with the ability to simplify and problem-solve in a co-productive way.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners.
