Family Contact Worker Opportunity

Service Care Solutions is excited to offer a new opportunity for a Family Contact Worker to join our team in Trafford Borough Council.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry a caseload of vulnerable children and young people (0-16 years old) and their families that require supervised contact, ensuring the safeguarding of the children and young people is a priority at all times.
  • Plan and hold contact sessions for children and young people who are looked after by the Local Authority in either the Contact Centre in Trafford, in the community, or outside of the borough as required.
  • Work with vulnerable children and young people who have either witnessed or been victims of domestic violence, neglect, physical, sexual, and emotional abuse, who may have severe emotional and behavioral issues.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
