Mental Health Support Role in Slough

Academics Ltd is seeking a skilled Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team at a specialist school in Slough.

The ideal candidate will have relevant degrees such as Psychology, Counselling or Criminology and excellent communication skills to support children with Social and Emotional Mental Health Needs.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain invaluable experience working with Special Needs and Mental Health issues, alongside our therapists and psychologists based on-site at the school.

About the Role:
  • Social and Emotional Mental Health Support for children aged 4-11
  • Working closely with therapists and psychologists to develop and implement behaviour plans
  • Providing one-to-one and group support to children with mental health needs
Key Requirements:
  • Relevant degree (Psychology, Counselling or Criminology)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively with children aged 4-11
