Pharmaceutical Laboratory Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Quality Control Laboratory Assistant. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a laboratory environment, prioritizing tasks, and providing excellent customer service.
The successful candidate will be responsible for dealing with customers and health professionals on a daily basis, responding to phone calls, receiving and logging samples, processing documentation, and dispatching products to customers. They will also undertake physical, chemical, and microbiological testing and microbiology media preparation.
This is a non-clinical role, and you will not have direct contact with patients or patient specimens. However, you will work in a fast-paced laboratory environment, requiring strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Manage the receipt, logging, and dispatch of samples and products
- Process documentation and maintain accurate records
- Undertake physical, chemical, and microbiological testing and microbiology media preparation

Requirements- NVQ 2 or equivalent level of relevant work experience
- Previous relevant experience in a laboratory setting
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- High level of customer care awareness and interpersonal skills
- IT skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry
