About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Support Worker at Newcombe Lodge, a specialist service providing care and support to children and young people with emotional, behavioural, psychological, and mental health problems.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work as a member of a team to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people.
  • Undertake administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the service.
  • Liaise with parents/carers, social workers, nurses, and psychotherapists to promote the welfare of the children and young people.
  • Assist with the development of education plans and work closely with teaching staff.
  • Contribute to the preparation of meals and support the catering staff.
  • Provide positive advice and education on health care requirements.
  • Participate in activities and promote the planning of such activities.
  • Undertake waking nights or day duties on a rotational basis.
  • Attend individual and group supervision sessions.
  • Participate in mandatory training requirements and continuing personal and professional development.
  • Complete driving assessments to be authorized to drive on Priory business.
