The Role: Senior Occupational Therapist
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our established and supportive team. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and residents within our diverse settings, including Cotswold Chine School, Paradise House, and William Morris School.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments, develop individualized intervention plans, and track progress towards therapeutic goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to children and residents, focusing on sensory regulation, physical development, emotional literacy, and independent living skills.
- Lead and mentor a team of Occupational Therapists, providing supervision, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including Speech and Language Therapists, Clinical Psychologists, Social Workers, and Psychotherapists, to ensure holistic care.
- Analyze therapy outcomes and contribute to the ongoing evaluation and improvement of our services.
Essential Requirements:
- Registered Occupational Therapist with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Proven experience working with children and/or adults facing Neurodevelopmental Difficulties or other learning needs.
- Strong clinical reasoning skills and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
