Job Summary
The Priory Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at The Lighthouse, a specialist residential home for young people aged 13-18 with complex mental health and associated risk-taking behaviors.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support young people with a range of behaviors related to their mental health and previous trauma.
- Participate in activities and engage young people in their daily routine, ensuring their educational needs are met.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to provide a therapeutic and homely environment.
Requirements
- Positive and proactive approach.
- Experience in care is desirable but not essential.
- Big heart and passion to make a difference to children and young people.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and resilience.
