UK Housing Policy Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Housing Strategy & Enabling Officer to join our team at Triumph Consultants Limited, working closely with clients to develop and implement effective housing strategies.
Estimated salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and monitor housing strategies, policies, and action plans, ensuring alignment with client objectives and effective resource allocation.
- Conduct research and assessments to inform the Housing Strategy and Local Plan policies, identifying areas for improvement and recommending evidence-based solutions.
- Engage with local communities and stakeholders to understand their housing needs and preferences, fostering collaboration and inclusive decision-making.
- Manage partnerships with key stakeholders, including Homes England, Registered Providers, and developers, to secure community-driven housing projects and maximize resources.
- Oversee affordable housing negotiations, ensuring compliance with Section 106 agreements and related regulations.
- Proven experience in strategy development and housing policy, with a strong understanding of UK housing, planning, and regeneration policies.
- Excellent communication, IT, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and negotiate effectively.
- Strong knowledge of housing legislation, including Section 106 agreements and related regulations.
- Degree in a relevant field, such as urban planning, housing studies, or a related discipline.
