Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Services Coordinator to join our team at Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This role involves providing administrative support for outpatient clinics, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to best practices.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of patient experience principles and be able to develop and maintain effective clinic administration services. They will work closely with service leads to ensure Referral to Treatment performance targets are met and patients are booked in accordance with the Trust's Elective Access, Booking and Choice policy.

A competitive salary of £24,071 to £25,674 per annum pro rata is offered for this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate waiting lists, on hold reports, and other patient tracking reports to direct outpatient administrators to book appointments in line with the Trust's Elective Access, Booking and Choice Policy.
  • Work with service leads to ensure Referral to Treatment (RTT) performance targets are met and patients are booked in order of chronology or clinical necessity.
  • Check patient demographics at clinic attendance and update changes on the patient administration system.
