Job Title: Head of Legal Practice

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Legal Practice to join our client's existing team. This role is a hybrid position, working from our client's Exeter or Birmingham office.

Role Summary

The Head of Legal Practice will be responsible for governance, risk, and compliance, ensuring the business delivers its financial, operational, and service objectives. This includes oversight of case management, processes, and procedures to achieve performance indicators within regulatory and approved benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with best practice standards and reporting requirements, as well as relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Identify and escalate risks, dependencies, and issues that could threaten delivery.
  • Conduct initial reviews and periodic assessments of all cases to ensure risks are highlighted and managed.
  • Act as a role model, demonstrating leadership, people management skills, and exhibiting the Group values and performance management capabilities.
Requirements

The successful candidate will be an organised, focussed individual with experience in Estates and Probate administration. They will have excellent leadership and people management skills, as well as the ability to demonstrate the Group values and performance management capabilities.
