Learning Disability Nurse

Milestones Trust is seeking skilled Nurses to join our Casual Nurse team. As a Casual Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex health needs.
The hourly rate for this position is £20.02, which includes extra pay for sleep-ins. You will have the opportunity to work in various locations, including Kingswood and Winterbourne, where you will be based at one service for the duration of your shift.
To excel in this role, you should possess strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude. We are particularly interested in applicants with Adult Nursing experience in acute settings or nursing homes.
As a member of our team, you will receive comprehensive induction shifts, full medication competency training, and access to paid training sessions. Our services are rated Good or Outstanding by CQC, ensuring you will be working alongside exceptional teams.
Key responsibilities include assessing individuals' physical health, recognising deteriorating conditions, and providing appropriate support. You will also have the opportunity to travel between services, offering support, guidance, and expertise over the phone or in-person.
