Senior Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a senior occupational therapist to join our team as Band 7 Lead Occupational Therapist. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with clinicians and individuals with lived experience to design and develop services that meet the needs of our patients.

You will have the opportunity to develop and implement the clinical and operational model for our specialist acute inpatient mental health service and outreach team, ensuring high-quality care for individuals with learning disabilities and autism.

A partnership between Avon and Wiltshire Partnership (AWP) and SW NHSE is transforming end-to-end pathways in the region. Our goal is to establish a centre of excellence, providing excellent care for people with learning disabilities and autistic individuals.

You will be supported in developing your knowledge, skills, and leadership abilities, as part of our expanding expertise in learning disabilities and neurodiversity within AWP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the clinical and operational model for the inpatient service.
  • Collaborate with clinicians and individuals with lived experience to design and develop services.
  • Leverage your leadership skills to deliver high-quality care and achieve our vision for excellence.

Salary:

£45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
